Sept Scuba News

Control Yourself Underwater, find out how for FREE:
How many times have I seen or heard divers say: I am tired of trying to find the inflator on my BCD or it's to hard to operate or I wish I could trim the inflation/deflation better. Come to the Forest Grove Aquatic Center September 30 (Sunday) at 6:00PM to try the Pro QD i3 Technology BCD.  You will need to bring your certification card, bathing suit, towel and yourself (under 18 years old must have a parent present).  We will have 3 scuba units already pre-set up with Tanks, Regulators & BCDs.  We will be bringing Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, & Weights for divers that do not have these items.                                       No cost just come and enjoy the experience!!!
Please give us a call  (503) 642-3483 to let us know you will be there, you may show up without calling.

NEW PRODUCT at PWS:
How would you like to have a Dive Knife & Cutting Shears combined together, nice, compact.
If you said yes then you need the Fog Cutter , this is such a neat product you have to at least check it out at: http://www.xsscuba.com/knife_fogcutter_drop.html
We are always trying to bring in different diving products, if you have any suggestions please let us know.
Gear Tip:
HOW DO YOU PREVENT DIVE GEAR MIX-UPS or LOSS?  Visible identification...so what does this mean?  You need to mark your equipment with a paint marker pen, this is the type we use here for making our rental equipment.  This is a must if you are especially a boat diver or going to a tropical location.  Use your initials or name is best, I even started putting my cell phone number on, this way for here they might call me if found.  I know I would call them if I found a piece of equipment with a name and number so it could be returned to the owner.  Just a suggestion....
