HOW to prevent flooding.....Many divers and snorkelers have underwater cameras, dive lights or dry containers of some type. The best prevention for flooding is before entering the water is to submerge the item in fresh water and see if bubbles continue to escape, if so then you probably did not get a proper seal. Take out of water, dry item off (hands as well) and re-check the o-ring seal to make sure it has not been damaged or contaminants are on it, even a small strand of hair could make it leak, then re-submerge in fresh water for another check.
NEVER rush while sealing these items you will pay for it in the long run for what you think you saved in time!!!
