PADI Boat Diver course Boat Diving is so easy and fun, once you start diving from a boat you will want to do it again and again. Divers will participate in our charter boat trips that we offer throughout the year just for this exact reason....EASY and FUN. Most of the BEST DIVE SITES are reached by boat, less energy expanded, live boat pick-up. Many great dives start from the deck of a boat. Why dive from a boat? Dive in areas you cannot dive from shore. Dive in clearer and calmer waters. Easier than shore diving. Less wear and tear on your equipment. Social interaction and fun. In this course you will familiarize, you the diver, with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and most important enjoyment of diving from a boat. What do I need to start? PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization) Minimum age: 15 years old (12-14 years must have a parent/guardian participating in course) Call to reserve a spot (503) 642-3483/DIVE Register at Pacific Watersports, receive your Boat Diver handouts and start learning NOW. This course will include; one classroom session, one day of diving (two dives), charter boat fee, Boat Diver handouts and PADI Boat Diver specialty certification (will completion of course).
