With this option you will be taught as a private group between one and four friends or family members. There will be a private orientation (offered Monday - Friday) , two to three pool training sessions (offered Tuesday or Sunday evenings). (The number of pool training sessions varies on the number of participants). There will be four open water dives following completion of eLearning and pool sessions, which will involve two days of training. The Open Water Dives may be held at a local dive location or in the beautiful Lower Puget Sound or Hood Canal area. Important Steps and Requirements Prerequisites : Good general physical/health, and basic swimming ability, minimum age limit of 12. You will need to complete a continuous 200-yard swim or 300-yard snorkel swim, not timed and ten-minute float/tread water. Review: The Divers Medical Questionnaire in advance and if any questions are answered with a Yes, you may be required to obtain a Doctors approval using this form before any in water training. Course Cost Includes: Your own personal Participant eLearning Kit, includes; Divers Log Book & Training Record and Carrying Portfolio, Scuba Equipment use, Pool Facility use, rental of SCUBA Equipment for Open Water Training Dives and Certification with completion of program (you will need to furnish your own personal scuba quality mask, snorkel, fins and inflatable safety signaling device (SMB) by second pool session).

Things you provide for Open-Water Two Days of Training : You will need to provide your own, food, transportation, lodging, access/parking fees, and two air fills. We will supply you with a packet of information, which will include; lodging options, directions, gear checklist and the agenda for the two days of open water dives.

There is a $25.00 cancellation fee once charges have been processed if participant training eLearning kit has not been used and cancelled 10 days prior to orientation date. If cancelled less than 10 days before orientation date your $125.00 deposit will be forfeited. Once you have started the program there is no refund on fees paid.
